Welcome to Råda församling, Råda parish
As the vicar (head Senior Pastor) it is a pleasure for me to welcome you to Råda parish, the Church of Sweden. The parish is located in the Härryda municipality, just 15 kilometers from Göteborg to the west and Landvetter Airport to the east. Both the parish and the municipality are continously expanding.

Significance for our work is that all we do, is related to people and our surrounding society. Our theology is based on a positive view to life, we call it a theology of liberation. In all our efforts, programs, services and different contacts, we strive to realise this theology.

In addition to the beautiful Råda church built in 1712,  we also use a functional parish house for other activities. In the house we have around 250 members singing in different choirs starting from 4 years of age and upwards. We have around 200 confirmands every year, good youth-work, spaces for children, exhibitions, study-programmes and special activities for middle-ages people. In the house, you can also find a restaurant, fully licensed, and with different conferencerooms. You are welcome to enjoy our good lunch as well as just a coffe.

The average age in the parish is around 34 and there are approximately 13 000 parish members. For your service, we have a staff of 30 with different functions.

Råda church is open Monday to Friday 8.30 – 16.00 and on weekends when there is a service.
